When speaking of Doppel-Wacholder, the comparison to gin comes to mind, as it is also a spirit produced from juniper. Whereas gin is characterized by a sophisticated use of different botanicals, the German Doppel-Wacholder lacks additional botanicals. The result is a clear spirit with a distinct juniper flavour, which is not over layered and is in the focus of this spirit, allowing it to unfold its lovely features in drinks. The “Doppel” (English “double”) does not refer to the intensity of juniper flavour, but to the alcohol concentration, which has to be at least 38% vol. for being allowed to be named Doppel-Wacholder.

Finsbury Wild Strawberry presents itself as a tasteful walk through the flowery Finsbury Park in the lively district of the same name in the north of the British capital – one of the many streets and squares in London that still proudly bear the name of the distillery built by Joseph Bishop.
The basis for Finsbury Wild Strawberry is the classic recipe of the Finsbury distillery, unchanged since 1740, which is based on the interplay of ten botanicals, including dried orange zest and cinnamon bark. Only natural fruit flavours of highest quality are used in the production process, which are harmoniously integrated into the taste profile of Finsbury London Dry Gin after it has been produced in copper stills which are more than 100 years old. The result is a perfect balance and a beguiling twist with the sweetness of red berries, which are pleasantly revealed with an ABV of 37.5% Vol.

Finsbury Wild Strawberry

Only Chardonnay grapes are used for this Blanc de Blancs Gancia expression, gently processed with the Charmat method. Gancia Blanc de Blancs Chardonnay has a straw-yellow color, characterized by persistent foam and perlage. Its aroma is delicate, fragrant and fruity with hints of apple. The taste is fresh, elegant, particularly balanced.

The aroma is intense and persistent, fruity, of quality, clearly reminiscent of the Golden apple and the scent of acacia flowers. Ist taste is sweet and fresh, pleasant, of great softness and stable balance, with good persistence and fruity finish.

Glenkenny unifies the best Single Malts out of the heart of Scotland. It is a handcrafted Malt that is uniquely blended from carefully selected Single Malts of some of the most renowned Scottish Whisky distilleries, which is why such consistent and extraordinary highquality is guaranteed.

Glenkenny Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

For the production only organic juniper berries are used and macerated in an organic wheat distillate. Following, the macerate is distilled in small batches in a copper pot still. Then, the distillate matures in juniper wood barrels for six months, before being merged with the organic wheat distillate, filtered and eventually bottled in nostalgic bottles.

Its melodious name gets Margaretes feiner Doppel-Wacholder from the fascinating woman Sophie Margarete Helbing, the widow of Christoph Heinrich Helbing who was the son of HELBING’s founding father Peter Hinrich Helbing. After his sudden death at the turn of the century and in the midst of the Industrial Revolution, Sophie Margarete took over the management of the company without hesitation, accompanied by her two sons-in-law and her oldest son. A woman at the top of a successful spirits company in the 19th century was highly exceptional and not common. Due to her determination, she was able to lay down the tracks for the unparalleled success story of HELBING, which continues to this day.

Canarío Cachaça originates from the Brazilian state of Estado do Rio, the cultural heart of the country.

For centuries, Brazil has been synonymous with a kind of tropical paradise. It inspires people&#8217;s imagination. From the crazy passion that its people have for the Carnival to the huge and mysterious forests of the Amazon region – Brazil is a country full of myths. Brazilians are a people full of energy, imagination and an effervescent &#8222;joie de vivre&#8220;. They enjoy dancing, going out and of course they love their national drink: Cachaça!
Contrary to common belief, Rio de Janeiro is not Brazil&#8217;s capital city. But it is its heart. Idyllically located between the deep blue ocean and steep slopes, Rio is often described as one of the world&#8217;s most beautiful cities. The Cariocas, as Rio&#8217;s inhabitants are known, have a reputation for partying and having a good time. And it&#8217;s certainly true that hardly anyone can match them when it comes to knowing how to enjoy life – whether it&#8217;s on the beach, dancing the samba or playing football. Things are somewhat more peaceful in the area surrounding Rio de Janeiro, in the beautiful green Estado do Rio. Here too, right in the middle of almost untouched nature and surrounded by verdant landscapes, is the home of the Fazenda Soledade &#8211; where Canarío Cachaça is made.
The Fazenda Soledade distillery
The agricultural company Soledade and the associated distillery were founded in 1827. Both have been in family ownership ever since. One family that for almost 200 years has devoted itself to making premium Cachaça. Brazil&#8217;s two largest pot stills are at this distillery, and the Fazenda Soledade is the only one of the important Cachaça distilleries to use the complex and gentle double pot still distillation process. Modern technologies complement this traditional, handed-down production method.
Only fresh sugar cane juice is used for making Canarío Cachaça. The sugar cane fields of the Fazenda Soledade lie in the mountains of São Fidelis, 800 m above sea level on the banks of the river Paraiba do Sul. The region is famous for individual and specialised sugar cane cultivation. Intensive irrigation of the slopes and the associated lower humidity guarantee an optimum concentration of flavour. After growing for about a year, the selected, fresh and valuable sugar cane is harvested by hand to make Canarío.
Canarío Cachaça
For the distillation process, the heart of the fresh, green sugar cane &#8211; the best and crucial part of the plant &#8211; is carefully separated from the rest before being pressed within 24 hours to produce fresh sugar cane juice, which is then fermented. The fermented juice is then distilled. The water used for this comes from a mountain spring, which is constantly monitored in order to preserve its pure, clear and soft quality.
The result is the 40% vol. alcohol  Canarío Cachaça, characterised by a tangy-fresh, restrained sugar cane note and its mild, pure and harmonious flavour. Canarío Cachaça is sold in 0.7 l and 1.0 l crystal-clear bottles with a facet finish.
Certainly the most well-known and most popular drink made with Canario Cachaça is Caipirinha, an exciting mix of Cachaça, crushed ice and lime, plus white cane sugar. You can also use Canarío Cachaça to mix a typical Brazilian Batidas. Depending on the flavour, this is made by mixing fresh tropical juices or fruits, or these fruits are puréed and mixed with plenty of ice &#8211; and of course Canarío Cachaça.

Cassis is the French word for &#8222;blackcurrant&#8220;. Crème de Cassis de Dijon is a liqueur made from blackcurrants. In France, the term &#8222;crème&#8220; refers to a liqueur with a particularly thick consistency and a concentrated, full flavour. &#8222;Cassis de Dijon&#8220; is a protected designation of origin for a Cassis made exclusively in Dijon in accordance with the strict regulations of the Cassis capital.
Cassis de Dijon must be made from fresh fruits, whereas Cassis of other provenances can also be produced with fruit juices, concentrates, aromas etc. In addition, berries from countries other than France may not be used. The quality of the Cassis de Dijon also depends on various important factors: The quality and integrity of all the fresh fruits, the types of berries used, the fruit content and the producers&#8216; know-how and the cellar techniques. Cassissée (16% vol.) is made exclusively from whole, freshly harvested blackcurrants.
Production
Cassissée Cassis de Dijon is made by L´Heritier Guyot, an estate that was founded in 1845 and is steeped in tradition. The company is the largest Cassis producer and the market leader in France. For two months, the fresh blackcurrants are soaked in the purest and finest-quality alcohol at the large, modern production facility of L&#8217;Héritier Guyot. Only the especially aromatic and high-quality French berry types &#8222;Noir de Bourgogne&#8220; (over 80%) and &#8222;Royal de Naple&#8220; are used to make Cassisée . Most of the berries are grown in the area around Dijon, in Burgundy and in the neighbouring regions. Cassissée has a very high fruit content.
Use
Since Cassissée is made only from natural ingredients and has an extremely high fruit content, a bottle should be kept refrigerated once it has been opened. This preserves its freshness and its incomparable aroma for a long time. Cassissée is the original ingredient for Kir, Kir-Royal and Kir Imperial. Kir is the global hit that gets its name from the canon and mayor of Dijon (1876-1967). He served his &#8222;Kir&#8220; to all the famous personalities who visited the beautiful city of Dijon, including Charles de Gaulle, Elizabeth II, Konrad Adenauer and Nikita Khrushchev. For an authentic Kir, simply pour Cassissée into a wine glass and top up with very well chilled, dry white wine. Cassissée is also superb for making other mixed drinks. In 1836, the complex recipe for this fine Kümmel was invented by the then 29 year-old Johann Peter Hinrich Helbing, who came from an old family of distillers. By the turn of the century and under the aegis of his son Christoph Heinrich Helbing, his small company that in the beginning employed just five people had grown into Germany&#8217;s largest spirits company with its own branches in the metropolitan cities of Paris and London. At the same time, as one of the city&#8217;s largest and most caring employers, the Helbing family assumed an important role in Hamburg. Its citizens thanked them for their social commitment by naming a square, a street and a school after Heinrich Helbing. The subsequent history of the Heinrich Helbing company was eventful, until it was finally taken over in 1974 by BORCO-Marken-Import. Since then, the  Matthiesen family which is behind the BORCO name has kept the recipe&#8217;s secret within a very close family circle. In addition, constant quality control by experienced master distillers ensures the very highest, consistent quality that discerning connoisseurs have been appreciating for over 175 years.
